Meet The Owner
Jason Gerrard
Owner
Born and raised in the Cheat Lake area of Morgantown, my roots run deep in West Virginia. I am a proud alumnus of University High, where I graduated in '96. In 2001, I furthered my education by obtaining an associates degree from the International Academy of Design and Technology. At the age of 21, I took a leap of faith into entrepreneurship and founded Rugratz Flooring in 2003, drawing on over 20 years of industry experience.
As time passed, my family grew, and I am now happily married with four incredible children: Destiny (24), Gracey (21), Giana (17), and Devyn (12). Since 2012, my family and I have called Fairmont our home, cherishing the joys of raising our children in this close-knit community.
Beyond my professional and family pursuits, I am an avid sports enthusiast and a devoted Mountaineer fan. I have also been deeply involved in the local community as a proud sponsor of youth baseball and basketball teams in Marion, Mon, and Preston Co. for the past two decades. I have had the privilege of coaching many of these teams, nurturing the talents and character of young athletes.
My journey has been defined by a deep commitment to my family, community, and the pursuit of excellence in everything I do. It is this dedication that has shaped me into the person I am today, and I look forward to continuing to make a positive impact in the lives of those around me.
